Emmersyn got clued in that you don't need to travel to the Bahamas to get braids! Grammie did such a cute job French braiding Emmersyn's hair. Emmersyn was not about to sit still for Grammie so Grammie had to do her best with Emmersyn moving around.
On to the other side....
The finished product! Super cute!
And how cute is this photo of Cameron with Grammie? Super cute!
Then it was off for a quick walk along the river. We had to park a little away from the river due to the busy holiday weekend. Lots of people were out and about.
The kids were just relaxing in their wagon.
I love this picture of mom and dad.
And this one, too!
Mom was able to capture a picture of me with the kids. Unfortunately, M's was being a bit stubborn and wouldn't look at the camera!
She was out of the wagon and searching for fish in no time.
Mom and M's checking out the Detroit skyline.
Another good photo of mom and dad....Contemplating how they were going to make it back home to their country!
Dad was trying to educate mom on all of the buildings in downtown Detroit.
What a cute little boy! And, so sweet!
I want a boat...and a cottage....and a new car....and an in ground pool....and a building....and a new house...and another building for Mohamed....Ahhh....Dad told me to take a picture of this modest boat. Maybe Emmersyn will tell Mohamed she wants a boat so it will show up in a dock with our name on it soon. Any suggestions of what we should name our boat?
Mom captured another cute photo.
Emmersyn was cracking up at Grampie as he was doing silly things in the background.
Emmersyn followed everyone for a while, then ventured off to do her own thing. I, of course, followed....when I turned around to check out where everyone else was, I saw they had someone capture a picture of the three of them by a passerbyer.
This photo is for Aunt Annette. Dad insisted that we take a picture here to show Aunt Annette that there are horses in Michigan? (But we are in Canada....so....not sure if the horse picture counts....we were pretty close to Michigan...only a river away).
I had to take a picture of this street sign. We parked on CAMERON street. How cool is that? Cameron asked if we could move to this street. I told him there were no homes for sale.
Before they got in the car, they insisted on a quick rest...not sure why?
Emmersyn fell asleep on the car ride home. I brought her in to take a nap on the lion, I ran out to pick up scrumptious shawarma sandwiches, visited with mom and dad a little more, and they were headed back home. Once mom and dad left, the kids wanted to slip-n-slide outside....so part two of the day started. Played outside for 2 hours, showered, and now they are doing puzzles. What a fun and busy day! I love these types of day! It doesn't get much better than this. Just wish Mohamed would have been able to share in the day. Maybe next time.

Dad and I had a great day visiting with you and the kids. You captured some great photos. Great memories!
