May Two Four

So this is May Two Four weekend.  Another Canadian oddity.  I don't get it....The weekend before Victoria Day, which is on Monday, is considered May 24 Weekend....pronounced...May, Two, Four.  May 24 is not until Thursday, so I questioned why isn't NEXT weekend May 2-4.....I've asked so many Canadians and I can't get a good answer.  Maybe they just don't want to share May 2-4 with the American Memorial Day weekend?  Anyway, I guess I'll have to get use to this crazy weekend.  It is sooooo quiet here is Windsor as everyone tends to go to their cottages during this weekend.  I need to get myself one of those!  Of course, all of the stores are shut down....so.....if anyone needs food or diapers they must head across the border!  Enough about May...Two...Four!

It was such a beautiful day that after work I coerced Cameron to come to the store with me to get a few fruits and veggies before the stores closed for the weekend.  He was such a great shopping buddy and he chose to get a new slip-n-slide to play with after the shopping excursion.

I'm going to share our fun play session outside....I got snap happy with my awesome camera that takes pictures SO FAST.  I don't miss anything!  Feel free to skip a few :)

And they were off......Emmersyn was trying her hardest to keep up with Cameron!

Cameron has definitely perfected his form since last summer!

This next set of pictures was of Cameron going a bit kooky from too much sun....

There was no stopping Emmersyn....she kept running...and slipping...and sliding...

I did manage to pull her aside for a quick second to snap a few pictures....

Awwwww....Look at this face!  A bit bias, I know....but come on!!!!

Emmersyn was cracking up as Cameron was chasing her to get the ball.  This girl is fast!  There was no catching her!
