First, I'm so excited that Canada is getting rid of the penny! How fabulous is that? That piece of copper is so pointless and takes up way too much air just existing! How magnificent!

I'm Excited
I need to get the kids to bed.....but real quick before we settle down for the night, I have to get out some of this excitement!
First, I'm so excited that Canada is getting rid of the penny! How fabulous is that? That piece of copper is so pointless and takes up way too much air just existing! How magnificent!
Second, I'm so excited that I am probably holding the winning $540,000,000 lottery ticket. Actually, I think I heard that it has increased to $630,000,000 but who's keeping track???? We each have our own line of numbers. I wonder which one of us it's going to be...hmmmmmm...I hope I can sleep tonight. HeHeHeHeHe!

Chill in the air
March is back.....It is so hard to return back to reality with March temperatures. I knew the big chill was coming, but it didn't make this frigid air any easier to accept. Emmersyn had no problem with the chill in the air as she begged to play outside today after school.
And look what Mohamed brought home for dinner last night! How annoying! He knows I can't resist sweets.
Mohamed wanted me to take a picture of these next two treats to show Nicole. I think this was a Tim Bit sucker, dipped in white chocolate, and decorated with m&m's and sprinkles. It shouldn't surprise me that these Canadians do weird things with their Tim bits!
And this was Mohamed's favourite. I know Nicole makes these all of the time, but Mohamed wanted me to have Nicole make it like this one.....On the inside was caramel and rice krispie treats....sooooo good!
Because Emmersyn has a constipation problem that we are working on correcting, she has been bribed with stickers to go to the bathroom. Cameron is more than happy to sit with her and wait and wait and wait for her to go...giving her a sticker each time she goes.
This is about 45 minutes into the process....
Here Cameron was providing Emmersyn with some entertainment through his dancing...
She was finally all done!
She was admiring all of her stickers...for a job well done!
Just a few random pictures....
Emmersyn loves her Egyptian shirt! She is daddy's little Cleopatra.
I wonder what this week has in store for us?????

A couple new things....
Before I headed off to work today, I thought I would get a quick manicure and pedicure. Why not get a little pampered before a "hard" day at work....sipping coffee....gossiping.....I have a tough job! Anyway, as soon as I walked in the door, my little mini me noticed my beautiful toenails instantly, and immediately requested a pedicure. Well, because the salon was already closed, and Mohamed could never let his daughter down, he offered to paint her toenails....
I chose to pay an extra premium for some "special" nail polish that should not chip for two weeks. I'll have to report back to you if it was really worth the price!
So, while I was hard at work making some money, Mohamed and the kids were hard at work spending some money. Check out Cameron's haircut! Isn't he a cute boy? And those eyes!!!!
Emmersyn got a new pair of shoes during their shopping spree.
Didn't she (Mohamed) do a great job picking out these super glittery shoes? Her little Montessori friends are going to be sooooo jealous!
Cameron bought a hat after getting that fabulous haircut.
And, of course Emmersyn needed a hat as well.
These pictures were from the other day when the kids wanted to take out a few of the floor puzzles.
Just a random self-taken picture!
I think Cameron and Mohamed are off in search of a new pair of sunglasses for Cameron before the stores close. Good night. Hope to have something new to report soon!

The past week
We have been so spoiled with this BEAUTIFUL weather. In March!!!
This is what I captured in pictures this week.... In these first pictures, Cameron is showing off what Emmersyn had picked out for him during a shopping excursion.....a green light-up ball and a new hoodie. Emmersyn picked out the ball all by herself as she knew that Cameron's favourite colour is green.
A simple ball can make kids sooooo happy!
I wonder what he was thinking....He was obviously deep in thought while admiring his ball.
Emmersyn loves this dress and won't take it off. I bought this dress from the Gap because I thought it was cute. Obviously so did she.
The other day the kids were watching t.v. together so I thought I would try to capture a picture of the two of them together.
These pictures are from Tuesday night when we decided to go for a walk along the river. It was a beautiful day, but was a bit chilling along the water as the sun began to set.
Cameron was doing his best to pretend to sleep. He said he was sooooo tired from all the walking we did.
This was another dress I picked up for Emmersyn, but she did not care for it quite as much as the pink dress.
And just a random picture of Cameron and I....self-timer.

What a Fun-Filled Day!
What a beautiful, sunny day we had today. The morning started with Emmersyn throwing a terrible two temper tantrum because she did not want me using "her" treadmill. She is so spoiled and still does not understand the concept of sharing. I take full responsibility for the way she has turned out. As I was attempting to run on her treadmill she was hitting me and crying to me that it was "my treadmill." She would point in the corner where the old treadmill is folded up and waiting to be picked up and say, "mama." So, Mohamed promised her that he would go and buy her another treadmill if she let me have her treadmill. See how we enable this vicious cycle to continue?
This is what Emmersyn wanted me to run on....
This is what I wanted to run on....
And so did Cameron....
Next we headed outside to take off the training wheels on Cameron's bike, put more air in his bike tires, and air in the tires of the running stroller. Once again, Mohamed had promised his little princess that soon they would be going for lots of runs together. She loves her runs outside.
Then Mohamed was out the door for work and I headed to Michaels with the kids in search of some Easter crafts. This is what they picked out. First, here are some plain plastic Easter Eggs that they wanted to decorate with stickers.
Here is Cameron's....
And the other side....
He was proud of his Easter egg.
And, so was Emmersyn....
She would not let this egg down....she was falling asleep with the egg in her hand.
Then it was off to hockey. While Cameron was inside skating, Emmersyn was heading off to the forest.
Taking a rest...
Trying to slide down this little hill on her stomach!
We then played in the trunk for a while....
Of course, with the Easter egg.
Then, she insisted that she wear my sunglasses because it was too sunny for her and she forgot to bring her sunglasses.
There's that egg again.
When we got Cameron off the ice, she now insisted on wearing his helmet while he drank his Gatorade. It must have been a great skate, because as soon as he step off the ice, he was dying for something to drink.
She got possession of my purse and Cameron's helmet.
Cameron just cooling down after his workout.
Then it was off to the park for some more fun....
She found it much more fun to go down the slide like superwoman than that grassy hill.
And here come Cameron. Monkey see, monkey do.
This girl can climb anything....
And he can climb things backwards.
Climbing to the top...
Cameron coaxing his sister to the top.
Then we had a slight problem. She refused to get in her car seat after the park. She sat on the floor for a good 35 minutes. Cameron watched his DVD, I played on my phone, and the parents and other kids at the park just watched us. It was too hot in the car so I had to have the windows down and she was loud!
When we did finally make it home, we had a quick bite to eat, and started decorated Easter eggs AGAIN!
These were foam sticker eggs...so easy for the kids to do independently. I loved it!
Here were some of the eggs. There are 24 to complete....Maybe we'll finish them tomorrow.
Cameron then wanted to decorate the windows some more with the new Easter window stickers we picked up... These were some of the older stickers....
Here Cameron is hanging up the new stickers. Emmersyn was having a pooping issue at this point so she was out of commission.
That about wraps it up for today....I'm tired, the kids are tired, and it's getting late. Plus, we lost an hour due to this crazy time switch. We are looking forward to this week of warm weather!
