School Shopping

I haven't had much to say or blog about lately.  But, just to remind myself years from now while I'm flipping through my blog books, I thought I should document some of the randomness.  Since our trip to Toronto we have hired help with the kids so that we are free to run errands without the challenge of dragging along a toddler and 5 year-old.  Some moms can do it, but I can't!  We should have hired this help years ago!  Speaking of hiring help, we also found someone to help us clean the house.  Our refrigerator and stove have never been so clean.  I might be a bit spoiled, but after work, or writing up progress notes, or writing a psychological report, I don't want to clean.  And when I do have the time, I would rather relax or have fun.  I think life is too short to do too many things that we don't like.  And, since we are able to have the help, I'm taking advantage of it.

Tomorrow Cameron starts Senior Kindergarten, and on Wednesday Emmersyn starts Montessori.  We have been busy shopping for back to school clothes (which has been so fun for Emmersyn) and buying the not so fun school essentials (duo-tangs, glue sticks, pencils, etc...).  Emmersyn picked out 3 backpacks this afternoon because she couldn't make a decision between the Mickey Mouse, Fairies, or Princesses backpack.  She ended up with the Fairies backpack, and I told the cashier to hold the other two.

Here is Emmersyn trying on her new dress and leggings for school.  I stocked up on all different colors and styles of leggings for her to wear under her dresses.  I was also looking for some long sleeve dresses that she could wear with the leggings during the winter.  I thought this dress was cute from GAP.  Dress up School is going to be so much fun!!!  I'm sure I'll be posting more of her fun school outfits!
