Toronto, Day 2

Continuation from the last entry....This is what we did on Day 2 in Toronto... We headed to Canada's Wonderland.  We had a great time, but missed Brad, Laura, and Ty who were going to try to join us here.  We're hoping next year they will be able to make it.

Here Cameron, Emmersyn and myself were hanging out just past the entrance waiting for Nicole, Steve, and the kids to arrive!

Mohamed and Emmersyn took a stroll down Medieval Faire while Cameron and I waited in line to check his height for the proper color wrist band.  The wrist bands were an easy way to identify which rides Cameron could and could not ride.

This was the first ride Cameron rode, and it quickly became his favorite.

Here Mohamed and Cameron are posing while waiting for the high divers to start their show.

And, here I am posing while waiting....

Can you spot the diver?

We were so excited to find Boofo's siblings!

This was Emmersyn's first ride.  She doesn't talk, but was really trying hard to say "airplane".  She was so excited, and of course had no fear.  I was the one with the anxiety.  I was "too tall" for the ride therefore I had to stay back.  This was the first time I ever heard this in regards to my height.  So my little two year old went solo.  At least she had her big brother as captain!

The little seat belt seemed so flimsy.  I swear if she would have leaned over, she would have fallen out of the sky!  Good thing she didn't freak out like Cameron at Disney Land!

But, when it was time to ride the carousel, she freaked out.  It is kinda like Cameron riding the roller coasters at Disney, but freaking out with the race cars.  Same scenario here.

And here comes Cameron's favorite part of Canada's Wonderland, Splash Works!  He ABSOLUTELY LOVED the water park.  This is a great sign for our upcoming trip to the Bahamas!  He loved this huge slide. You'll see how high it is in a later picture.  I zoomed in to capture him up top.

He was so excited after the ride, he wanted to do it again, and again, and again, and again.

He also couldn't get enough of the wave pool!  He loved riding the waves.  I'll need to look into surf lessons after skating is over.

Cool roller coaster in the background.  Cameron wanted to ride it, but he wasn't tall enough!

This is a picture of Cameron just finishing another ride.  It was a covered slide so I couldn't really capture him coming down.  On this slide, they twisted and turned on these tubes!  He did awesome and showed no fear.

Here is the big slide I was talking about.  Mohamed got the full effect when Cameron and I were up top.

Finally, here's Emmersyn...

Day 3 is coming soon....

  1. Oh, what fun! This looks like a great place to take the kids. You captured some great snapshots. Can't wait for Day 3 Blog.

  2. I love the posts Mo. You took great pictures and a lot more than I did. That was not the same airplane ride that Gabby and I were on. I never saw those airplanes. We rode a bus like jet that went around in circles. I can't believe Cameron didn't freak on the giant slide. I think Nicholas was a little nervous the first time he had to go down. It looks scary from the top when you look over the edge and push off. Was he able to push off the top on his own?

I can't wait to see the great Niagra pictures coming on day 3......
