3rd Annual Halloween Party

Here are some pictures from our 3rd annual Halloween party.

Emmersyn couldn't decide between being a witch, princess, or cowgirl.  I bought the witch outfit, and everything was great until Gabby arrived in a butterfly costume.  Then we had some major problems!

Doing a bit of contemplation.

She did make a pretty witch, don't you think?

She was becoming a bit annoyed waiting for our guests....We were all walking on eggshells fearing that she was going to put an evil magic spell on us.  She was threatening to turn us all into puppies.

Out came Luigi.

And, not sure what I was....but the costume was called Fruity Licious.

An angry Freeze Bird.

These are the only 2 pictures of Luigi with his moustache.  Once the guests arrived, the moustache was missing.  Ironically it was found on the bottom of a plastic bag as our guests were leaving.

Cameron insisted on taking a picture of Luigi with Fruity Licious????

He was trying to take off, but soon realized his arms were not as functional as wings.

Here they were intrigued by the smoking pumpkin.

Finally after lots of waiting, our guests began to arrive!  In came another witch!

A farmer....

And a pig....

Yoda....

I love Melia's smile....

A yellow belt....Karate kid....This was the default costume after he couldn't fit into the kid size ninja outfit Laura picked up for him earlier in the day.  Laura's rational was that she thought Brad would be able to fit into a kid size costume because he is "so skinny."  Too bad Brad is just a few feet taller than the average 6 year-old!

I just thought this was a cute picture of Emmersyn with Uncle Justin.

I would love to know what Emmersyn is thinking in this picture!  She is studying her Grampie!

Mom and dad opted not to dress up this year....They did wear orange and Crystal already has mom and dad's costumes picked out for next year....Hmmmm....can't wait to see!

I love this family photo minus Tyler!

The Ninja!

A butterfly....

Another witch!  With a homemade tutu and awesome tights!

This was one of my favorite accessories....The witch's spell book!

The dirty doc!  Gabby and Emmersyn kept insisting that he was "dirty" and that he needed to take a shower!

This pig was close to being slaughtered!

What a BEAUTY!!!!

Nicole will explain the costume debacle for Amanda....but as Amanda told me, it turned out to be her best costume ever!  I agree!

I love that these two girls are only 3 months apart!  For not planning these pregnancies....It worked out fabulous.  Emmersyn adores Gabby and Gabby adores Emmersyn.  So, it shouldn't have been a surprise that when Gabby walked in, Emmersyn was jealous of her butterfly costume.  Emmersyn threw a temper tantrum.  And, when Emmersyn changed out of her witch costume into her princess dress, it was Gabby's turn to be jealous!  These two also made lots of ruckus downstairs challenging one another to a somersault contest!

I asked them to make silly faces....

Emmersyn has no problem with her silly faces...Gabby just wanted me to be finished snapping the pictures.

We were only missing Melia to complete the gorgeous girl cousins.  Maybe next year!

Too bad Nicole's witch's hat was a tad bit too big.  She did comment that it would probably fit Cameron's head.  That statement could not be more true.  We should have tried it on him!

This was a picture Farmer Justin took with Emmersyn after she stole the carrot back from Amanda after Amanda had swiped it out of the Farmer's overalls!

I think Emmersyn swiped the carrot this time when Uncle Justin wasn't looking.

Mohamed took a quick shot of everyone before hopping into the picture while Nicole did a self-timer shot with her tripod.  I can't wait to see her picture once she blogs.

Mohamed LOVED holding baby Melia!

Getting ready to celebrate some birthdays.

First it was time to sing to Farmer Justin.....

Then it was Grampie's turn...

I love this picture of Cameron during the singing of Happy Birthday.

I wonder what he was thinking...Maybe "I wish it was my birthday!"

Then everyone helped Grampie blow out his candles.

And we ended the night with a little mask painting.

Another Halloween party has come and gone....We can only wait to see what cool costumes next year will bring.

  1. So many great photos! What a fun party again this year. I just love to see what everyone is going to dress up as...... like fruity-licious. Who would have guessed you would be an orange haired Judy Jetson? There were a lot of duplicates this year... the ninja and karate kid.... all the witches... the matching orange shirts..... But once again we did have a unique, dirty doctor, and the farmer and the dell with his pink piggie.... and a mustache-less Luigi in a too tight jumpsuit! It was great seeing everyone and celebrating birthdays. I can't wait to see what next year will bring. (And too think... this party might not have happened because you are working 7 days a week!!!!)
