We stopped for lunch, tried to check in to our suite but the room wasn't ready, changed into our bathing suits, and the waiting began!
Ready for some water pics? Here is a bit of our get-away to Kalahari....Cameron and Amanda posing on the balcony of our suite. The suite was a great idea as we were able to stay together. The sleeping arrangements....well, that's another story. Nicholas is a kicker and a very thirsty sleeper....that's all I have to say!
Thanks to Amanda, I was able to get a picture with Cam.
Here are all of the cousins together.
Thanks again to Amanda, Nicole and I got a picture together.
Making our way to the arcade....
The arcade was a disaster as everything was "out of order."
We got a few free skee ball games while we waited....and waited...and waited....(That was the reoccurring theme of this vacation....waiting in lines, waiting for the arcade to work, waiting for the pottery to be done, waiting for the waves to be turned back on, waiting to be yelled at by a lifeguard, etc.)
So, instead of waiting for the arcades to start working, we decided to paint some pottery.
Cameron chose a football to go in his sports themed bedroom.
Amanda chose a princess....How fitting...
And, Nicholas chose a snake!
Cameron was done before Amanda and Nicholas, so we headed off to the gift shop. On our way, Nicole spotted free Cookie Decorating. How could we pass this up? So, we decorated some cookies!
And then the best part....Eating the cookie!
Next it was time for a bit of bowling....
And then golfing....Cameron was a disaster and it is a miracle that we escaped without any injuries from Cameron's club!
Cameron hanging out waiting to go for dinner in his new green sweatshirt.
This was after dinner....Gabby and Cameron needed a rest....
Here we were playing charades. How can we forget Cameron's guess.... Nicholas was doing a dance, and Cameron guessed "the armpit fart with his leg." And, that crazy green scuba mask is a whole other story. He insisted we buy the mask, and then insisted we return the mask before we left the resort.
This was Friday morning....one more day!
I wonder what Cameron is searching for with his scuba mask.
I love this picture!
I love these next few pictures of Cameron doing some type of water dance.....
Waiting in a line....Surprise, Surprise....
A bathing beauty!
We were all excited to leave...and have the next guests staying in our suite figure out how to turn off the running water in the kitchen sink! We were out of there!
I was sooooo excited to see Emmersyn and Mohamed when we got home. How cute is this precious girl in the hoodie we bought her?
That's it for Kalahari for a LLLOOONNNGGG time!

Great Pictures! Looked like you all had a great time. However, your comments leave us wondering!
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are fantastic. That was a great synapsis of the trip. I'm glad the kids had a great time because I don't want to see a water park for a LOOOONNNNGGGG time either. I hope the Bahamas is a little more relaxing because our stay will be longer. (And hopefully there will be no crazy rules, or lines, or waiting......)
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures, great summary of our trip, great blog!
