Here were a few pictures from yesterday during our boating escapade at Kensington. Nicole and I were both dying of bordem on Sunday afternoon and so I hopped in the car with the kids and headed over to their house while Nicole, Steve, and the kids came up with a plan....The winning vote was renting these crazy "paddle boats" at Kensington. Peddling for the first 30 minutes was a breeze. Nicole and I concluded we must have been going with the current. Because, once we turned around to head back to home base.....we were NOT moving and our legs were getting a bit sore. And, if it wasn't for Nicholas' keen sense of direction, we would probably still be lost at sea! Nicole and I totally passed our docking station, and Nicholas pointed out from his boat that we needed to back track to get to the dock. Nicholas is a little compass. I need to make sure I travel with him on any future trips. As we all know, I have no concept of north, south, east, or west. Put me in the middle of a body of water with no landmarks, and forget it. Thanks for getting us to land Nicholas!
Here Nicole must be telling Emmersyn to steer in the direction of the boat in front of us with Uncle Steve, Nicholas, Amanda, and Gabby!
Not sure what Nicole is conversing to Cameron about, but he looks a bit confused....
