The other night I was laying down in bed with Cameron, putting him to sleep. He asked me if he could get up and go to the bathroom (he needs permission to do EVERYTHING). I, of course, said "yes." He turned on the light in the bedroom so he could see, went to the bathroom, and came back to bed. Before he got into bed, I said, "Turn off the light and shut the door."
Cameron: "You think you have no legs and arms?"
Me: "Yes, I do."
Cameron: "Then you do it. Don't be so lazy."
Me: "You turned on the lights and opened the door to go to the bathroom so you turn them off."
Cameron: "If you're not going to be my friend then I'm not going to teach you French words. Do you know how to say 'bowling' in French?"
Me: "No."
Cameron: "It's 'key'".
Me: Just chuckling to myself. He thinks he can use his French knowledge to manipulate me. He is so smart! I must ask him how to say A LOT of words in French if he uses this as a punishment in order to get me to do something. How will he manipulate me a few years from now? What information will he withhold from me then? How to find the derivative of some imaginary number? Too bad the one area I am completive in is academics. I'm going to need to pull out some of my psychology tricks to use on his manipulation tricks!
I also found his legs and arms comment so funny. I have no idea where he picked this up from. I don't say this, and I'm sure Mohamed has never uttered these words....The kids at school talk in French.....Handy Manny, Mickey Mouse, Rolie Polie Olie....I want to know who taught him this......Amanda....Nicholas!!!!! I know those two have Cameron mesmerized.
