Speaking of annoyed...doesn't Emmersyn look annoyed in this picture? What is there to be annoyed with in the Bahamas????
Ohhhh, she was annoyed that she wasn't in the water. A look of content now that she found some H2O.
Mohamed trying to get into a picture with the kids...
One more attempt....
And, my jealously kicked in and I insisted that it was my turn to be with the kids....
This picture is a great picture to show what Splashers is really all about. Cameron loved the big watersides. We dropped Emmersyn down them a few times, which she was not thrilled about. Parents were not allowed down the slides. We were just trying to toughen up the little Bahama baby...Similar to the braid story!
The kids loved this pool which was directly across from Splashers. This pool had three small slides and these waterfalls. The kids loved sitting under the waterfalls. I thought the water hurt, but the kids obviously thought it was fun.
There are so many cool features throughout Atlantis from which water spurts out. The kids are never bored exploring new watering grounds.
This was one of the kids' favorite rides. It was called The Current. The lazy river was closed for upgrades/maintenance, but The Current is like a lazy river with lots and lots of waves and currents and twists and turns. Every time a wave was coming Emmersyn would shout, "Uh Oh." It was soooo funny. The rafters around us would all laugh at her. She went airborne numerous times during the ride, but she loved it. She wanted to go on this ride over and over and over and over. The ride itself takes a good 10-15 minutes. It was so relaxing. I would take Emmersyn and Mohamed took Cameron.
Digging a little in the sand.
Cameron went in the ocean to rinse off his sandy hands, but accidentally got a taste of the salt water. Just look at that face. It says it all.
And here come the tears.
And more tears.
A few fun pictures of me with the kids on the beach.
Emmersyn going for a quick dip with Mohamed.
Cameron had a blast trying to bury his dad in sand. His technique was to start dumping sand on Mohamed's head. He did this over and over and didn't get very far. He did have a lot of fun doing it and Mohamed thought it felt good!
They are signing off for this blog post! Pretty cool sand pyramid don't you think? What else do you expect from Mohamed???? Sand castle? What's that?
It looks like so muchfun. I love that the lazy river had waves and currents. Usually you just get to float but being bounced around is a lot more fun. It is great that you are in so many photos this trip. This will make your photo book so easy. As for the salty ocean water, my kids don't like it either especially when it gets in your mouth which happens all the time when you are playing.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely loved the sand pyramid. Only Mohamed would think up that!
So happy I can comment on my iPad. I don't know what is going on with my other computer. Can't wait to see more installments of the trip!
