Father's Day, Canada Day, and Easter

Here we go again....It has been a while since the last entry.  This is what I can remember...  Cameron graduated from JK on Wednesday which was fabulous.  He is now looking forward to starting SK in a few short weeks.  School ended on Wednesday and by Thursday, he was already asking when he could go back to school.  Good thing he starts swimming on Monday which will be everyday at 9:00.  Gymnastics also starts next week, and I want to see if I can register him for sailing lessons.  So, what do you get a Junior Kindergarten graduate?  A flat screen plasma television for your bedroom, of course.  Cameron and Mohamed picked out this perfect graduation gift Thursday morning while cruising around Costco.  We are just waiting for the electrician to stop by to help us do the wiring in Cameron's room.  Mohamed is working on finding the studs so that he can hang the wall mount for the t.v. 

While we were trying to adjust the picture quality, Emmersyn was amazed that she could watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on two televisions simultaneously!

And seeing that today is Canada Day, the public pools opened for the first day.  Cameron and I headed out to the pool for some fun while Mohamed and Emmersyn took naps.  I know that I have mentioned in the past that Cameron is great for giving compliments, so it shouldn't have surprised me when I came out with one of my new bathing suits on and he commented, "That bathing suit is so cute."  I just had to smile!  My bathing suit is cute!  I'm glad my 4 year old thinks I have a cute bathing suit.  This was one of the 3 bathing suits I picked up the other day on my lunch break when I couldn't decide which suit to buy.  I opted for all 3 with the excuse of the upcoming Bahama trip.

Here are some pictures from Father's Day.  Cameron was so excited for Father's Day.  I honestly think he was more excited for Father's Day than he was for Christmas. This is probably because he does not care much about getting gifts, but absolutely loves giving gifts..Take a look...

This second gift was another hit.  It was a scrapbook of Mohamed and the kids over the past year.  Mohamed is always asking for another scrapbook.

A picture is worth a thousand words, right?  Well, this picture says it all when he opened up the third gift. 

This is the expression of pure disappointment when you were expecting a power tool and ended up with a coffee maker!  It took him 1/2 hour to get over this disappointment.  (And, he is still talking about the awful Keurig coffee maker.)

Here Mohamed is scolding Emmersyn for getting him such a pointless gift!  He is telling her to stick to the homemade gifts rather than a more material gift!

I know it was Father's Day, but being the jealous being that I am, I tried to get in a picture with my princess.

I love these next few photos of the kids on Mohamed's shoulders.  This is one of their favorite places to be.

Mohamed was really trying to take advantage of Father's Day and get as many kisses as he could on his special day.

We had a great time hosting Father's Day and it was great to see everyone.  How cute is Ty with Brad?

Mohamed loved seeing Tyler and throwing him up and down. 

Emmersyn had to hang out with her baby cousin Tyler because her sidekick, Gabby, was sick at home with a virus.  We missed her and Steve!

The weather was beautiful and the kids had fun playing in the water.

And, Cameron finally decided to go through his Easter eggs and put his money from the Easter eggs into his bank.
