Practice, Practice, Practice

So today it was back to gymnastics after a week off for Good Friday.  Good thing, because we need a lot of practice!  Mohamed opted to stay home to clean the floors, so Emmersyn and I went solo.  The problem was, that it was hard to take pictures and assist Emmersyn onto the appratus' simultaneously.  Anyway, here were my attempts.  Hopefully we'll get some better shots in the future!  And, the gym was a bit cold, so I kept her pants on under her cute, little leotard.  Hopefully next time the gym will be a bit warmer.

In the first picture Emmersyn is anxiously awaiting the teacher to summon all the kid's into the gym.  This is the hardest part of gymnastics, waiting that last minute before being allowed to enter into the gymnasium!

Swinging on the rings and bars.  She is so strong.  She can hang for what seems like forever!

The instructions were to try to do a somersault on the low red beam.

Why not try the parallel bars?

Back to swinging on the bars!

And look at the determination on her face when she is going to attempt her handstand roll!

Didn't quite get it, but that's why we keep showing up for the practices.

She was all excited to try to do her somersault on the high beam!  Once again, this girl has absolutely NO fear!

This last picture I just shot at the end of practice during "free time."

And after gymnastics we walked into a nice clean home smelling of bleach and other cleaning supplies.  The floors were spotless!
