Here he was just seeing what he might look like with a mop on his head....
And, I have to say, Cameron is such a great big brother. He is always looking out for his little sister. Here Mohamed brought the kids to the store to pick up a few things, and Cameron made sure that Emmersyn held onto his hand the whole time so that she would not get lost. (I'm calling it "caring" and hoping it is not anxiety like his mom afraid that his little sister might get lost!)
Mohamed was just trying to sneak into a picture with Cameron.
And, so I don't forget all of the cute things Cameron says, I thought I should write a few down. Cameron is always reminding me to wear my "breast protector" (a.k.a. bra) because I need to keep my breast milk safe. But, the other day, I got a lecture from my 4 year-old about why I stopped breastfeeding Emmersyn. Our conversation went something like this...
Cameron: Why don't you pump milk for the baby any more?
Me: I can't because I'm taking medication. Why do you want me to pump?
Cameron: Because it's better for her. Breast milk is better than the other milk. You don't pump because you are taking medication and you are a doctor?
Me: Yes. I want to pump, but I can't because I'm taking medication.
Mohamed: Don't worry mommy will pump again when she has another baby.
I already felt guilty when I stopped nursing at 18 months, and then Cameron has to scold me! And, did I mention that this child will not go to bed until his clothes are folded perfectly? I told him I would quickly fold his shirt for him, and he yelled at me that the shirt wasn't "flat" enough and that I wasn't doing a good job folding it. He insisted that he refold his clothes. Why can't he just throw his clothes on the floor like other kids. I would have no problem picking them up for him. But, no. My child has to be weird!
I can't wait until Emmersyn starts to talk so she can also lecture me. I love being a mom! Until next time....
Oh please, please send we your weird kid vibes! I would love it if my children would attempt to fold clothes instead of throwing them on the floor 12 inches from the hamper.
ReplyDeleteCute photos!
