I'm so excited that our house has finally been painted!  Remember Emmersyn's awful yellow and orange walls?????  Here's a reminder....the yellow.....

And, remember when Gabby was playing dress up with Emmersyn's clothes????  Check out the orange wall......

It's hard to tell in this picture, but VOILA.... pink and purple....much, much, much better than the orange and yellow!

Mom and I found this bedding for a super great deal.....And, it's pretty cute...The room still needs to be decorated and we need to get some furniture, but it's a start!

And, don't forget the crazy ocean Cameron was living in......

He chose green for his room.....So much better!

Happy 3rd Birthday Emmersyn!

So, Emmersyn turned the big THREE just a few short hours ago.  Shortly after 5:00 p.m., 3 years ago today, this little stinker was welcomed into the world!  It's all about M-E (EMMY) today!

When I told Emmersyn it was her birthday today...this is the priceless expression that I got!

How could it be true?  

You would think she just turned 16 with a brand new car waiting for her in the driveway!  

Then the expressions just kept on coming....this girl LOVES attention!

And, this is how big a 3 year old is.....

She was tired from making her crazy faces....

This is the expression you get when you find out it is your sister's birthday and that you have to wait 12 more days for your big day....

Play Ball

As a late Father's Day gift, Nicole and Steve, and me and Mohamed thought it would be fun to take mom and dad to a Tiger's game.  Plus, this would be the first ball game for Cameron, Amanda, Nicholas, and Gabby.  Emmersyn got some special one-on-one attention from the babysitter which was a treat.  (Cameron is asking when he gets his one-on-one time with the babysitter..... Looks like Emmersyn and me have a girls night out next week!)

Anyway, I figured I should blog about this day real quick before time gets the best of me.  It was 91 degrees when the game started and by the end of the game it had cooled down to a breezy 86 degrees.  We had fabulous seats right behind home plate.  Here are a few pics from my phone....

Cameron didn't look like he was having a great time, but he insists he did.  He is already asking when the next game is.... So, Cameron said his favourite part of the game was when he got his hot dog!  He also said he liked when he got his Gatorade, when he bought his new hat, and sitting next to Nick...However, Cameron proceeded to tell me, "The best part was when I got to touch Aunt Nicole's cast!  It felt so cool!"  How FUNNY!  Absolutely NOTHING about the actual ball game! (I just read this to Cameron and he said, "erase all that...I wasn't bored I was just tired.")

After the game, Cameron and I were on the hunt for our car.  I wanted to get a quick picture with Cameron in his new hat.  How weird is this guy giving Cameron bunny ears????
