Christmas 2011

I figured seeing that today was the beginning of a new year, I better finish up last year's pictures with Christmas....

Cameron was so excited to go to Grammie and Grampie's from the minute he woke up.  It was a long wait until 5:00 p.m. for him.  Here he is posing in front of the dessert table waiting for Amanda and Nicholas to arrive.

I had mom take a picture of the two of us.

It wasn't long before Nicole and the gang arrived. 

And here are the yummy treats that Nicole brought!  I always love how great her treats look!  They taste just as great!

It was finally time to open up presents after a long wait after dinner.

Emmersyn would not allow me to take a picture of her all night.  Here I was able to get a picture of her opening up one of her many gifts.

She quickly caught on to what I was doing, and put on her, "I don't want a picture" face....

This was Christmas morning.  Cameron was NOT a happy camper as he and Emmersyn were fighting over who could pick up the most Hershey kisses that Santa left behind....

And the race was on....

Emmersyn found these cool sunglasses in her stocking...

And she wouldn't take them off....She proceeded to unwrap her presents with the glasses on.

Emmersyn LOVED her scooter!  This was probably one of her favourite gifts.  (My spell check changed my spelling of "favorite" to the Canadian "favourite"!!! AHHHHH, I'm really becoming Canadian!)

Then we started wasting time by taking pictures as we waited for mom and dad, and Justin and Crystal to arrive....

Too bad Cameron wasn't looking at the camera, otherwise this would have been a cute picture...

And then the crazy faces began....

Next it was Emmersyn's turn... She is IMPOSSIBLE!

This is one of my favourite pictures....They are weird...Those faces!  (Here was another spelling of "favourite."  It's crazy, my computer knows where I'm writing from....scary!)

We played a lot of the game Hedbanz after we were done with pictures.  You have to choose a card, put it on your head, then guess what you are before the time runs out.  

Cameron was getting frustrated that he couldn't figure out what he was....

Grammie and Grampie finally arrived.  Emmersyn suckered Grammie into doing her new puzzle over and over and over and over!

Crystal is soooo good with the kids.  She was having with Cameron playing on his new Crayola dry erase board.

She then offered Emmersyn to join in the fun...

Next it was time to build some Legos!  But, they needed help from an engineer.

So, then Mohamed and Emmersyn joined Justin, Crystal and Cameron to figure out how to build the Lego car...

The ages on the box stated it was for ages 4+, hummmmm...what's wrong with this picture?

Happy Birthday Nicholas

Yesterday we had so much fun celebrating Nicholas' 7th Birthday.  Here were a few pictures.  I did not do a great job capturing the festivities because my camera has been acting up... this is what I got...

Cameron was waiting and waiting and waiting to go to the party.  He always has so much fun playing with Amanda and Nicholas.

This would have been a great picture of Emmersyn laughing if she didn't have that crazy pacy in her mouth.

The theme of the party was Super Mario... Didn't Nicole do an AWESOME job on these cookies??? I was amazed.

This is a reminder to myself of why I should not start work before I bring the kids to school!

I got these two pictures as text messages from Mohamed while in the middle of a therapy session!  C'est la vie!  I just had to laugh.

Catch Up + Thanksgiving

So, Nicole's blog inspired me to post an entry.  I haven't really been in the blogging mood lately, but here is a bit of what we have been up to.

The kids were sick a few weeks back....A fire truck came to put out a small fire in a neighbor's basement and the kids were fascinated with the firemen and flashing lights...

Cameron wanted to go outside to get a picture in front of the fire truck, but I coerced him into taking a picture inside the house in front of the fire truck.

We have been having daily drawing contests where we all have to draw a picture and then vote on the winner.  Here is one days of pictures...Can you guess who drew what?

There were a few pictures missing...Here are all the pictures from two days...

This picture was the LOSER!  No one voted for this one.

Will she be a future figure skater????  We shall soon find out.

Here are our Thanksgiving pictures.  I tried three times to capture a picture of these cousins....Take 1...YooHoo Cameron.....look my way!

And, Take 3...his eyes almost make it to the camera....We'll try again next year.  Amanda looked stunning in all three photos! She is very photogenic.

Then I handed the camera over to Amanda...  Take 1...Yoo Hoo...Emmersyn...look...

Take 2.....Now we lost Cameron....enough already...There will be no Take 3.

Great picture of Uncle Leon and Nicole!  It was nice to catch up with Uncle Leon!  Looking forward to seeing him again on Christmas Eve!

Brad and Dad were going to do the wishbone, until Nicole in the background stopped everything to have Nicholas join in the fun.
